Winter Has Struck

Coos has STRONG opinions about the snow

Our first significant snowfall of the season arrived this last week, covering the brown tones of autumn in a fresh blanket of white.

It also covered the last vestiges of grazing grass and fallen leaves (a goaties favorite potato chips), much to our girl Coos' chagrin.

One lovely thing about Coos is that she does NOT hesitate to let us know when she is displeased with the establishment we have provided. I wouldn't describe her as a diva, but she isn't above leaving a bad Yelp review if our services are what she considers below par.

She definitely informed me of her feelings and I apologized profusely. She was appeased by a few carrot slices out of my pocket, but the side eye she graced me with informed me that she will be asking for my manager if it happens again.

Poor Coos, we are a long way from spring, darlin', and the complaint department for the weather is more of a dead letter office in these parts...

I should probably lay up a good supply of carrots in my fridge...
